1. Overview

A1R ("the software", "we", "us") is a live setlist and section navigator that runs alongside Ableton Live. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using A1R, or the website a1r.app, you agree to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. License

A1R is licensed, not sold. A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use A1R on the number of computers ("device activations") included in your tier. Licenses are one-time purchases and include one (1) year of software updates from the date of purchase. After that year the software continues to work; access to newer versions may require a renewal.

You may activate A1R on the number of devices allowed by your tier.
You may deactivate a device to move your license to another computer.
You may not resell, sublicense, share, or publicly distribute your license key.
You may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to circumvent the licensing of A1R.

3. Activation & Offline Use

A1R requires a one-time online activation to validate your license. After activation, A1R runs offline. Activation binds your license to a device identifier derived from your computer.

4. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the Merchant of Record and handles billing and applicable taxes. Because A1R is downloadable digital software delivered instantly, all sales are generally final. If you experience a genuine technical problem that we cannot resolve, contact support@a1r.app and we will review refund requests in good faith.

5. Free Tier

The Free tier requires registration and activation and is limited to one device. It is provided "as is" with no obligation of support or updates.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

A1R is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that A1R will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, interruption during a live performance, or loss of profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Live performance notice: You are responsible for testing A1R in your setup before relying on it during a live show. Always keep a backup workflow.

7. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and collect the minimum necessary to operate the service:

Email address — for your account, license delivery, and support.
License & activation data — your tier, license key, and a device identifier (a hash derived from your computer's hostname and hardware address) used to enforce device limits. We do not collect the contents of your Ableton projects, audio, or setlists.
Payment data — handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy; we do not store your card details.

We do not sell your data. We use it only to provide licensing, updates, and support. You may request deletion of your account data by emailing support@a1r.app.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of A1R after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
